Classification

Classification

Classification is the age restriction number on films, this keeps children away from severe violence and sexual scenes. 


Examples of U rated films (Universal)-  Finding Nemo, Beauty and the Beast, Flushed Away, The Magic Round about, Monsters Inc.

  • The book of Eli has a 15 classification because it contains, adult themes, strong language and  moderate-strong violence/ sex references.
  • 28 days later has a 18 classification because it contains, Adult themes, very strong violence, extremely strong language and sexual references. 
  • The road has a 15 classification because it contains, adult themes, strong language, moderate-strong violence and sexual references and scenes.
  • I am legend has a 12 classification because it contains infrequent use of strong language, discreet sexual activity, and moderate violence.
