Classification is the age restriction number on films, this keeps children away from severe violence and sexual scenes.
Examples of U rated films (Universal)- Finding Nemo, Beauty and the Beast, Flushed Away, The Magic Round about, Monsters Inc.
Examples of PG films (Parental Guidance)- Ghostbusters, Harry Potter and the Philosophers stone, Grease, Hocus Pocus, The Gooneys.
Examples of 12A (12 and under with parental guidance)- Captain America: Civil War, X-Men Apocalypse, Me before you, Jason Borne, The Dark Knight.
Examples of 12 Films (12 and above)- Spider Man, Step up, Meet the parents, The Lord of the Rings: The return of the king, Sherlock Holmes, Avatar.
Examples of 15 films(15 and above)- Super bad, American Pie, Step brothers, Hot Fuzz.
Examples of 18 films (18 and above)- Kill Bill, A clockwork orange, Die Hard, Fight Club, The Silence of the Lambs.
